Our VABO courses take place centrally in Stuttgart.
What are VABO courses?
VABO stands for Pre-qualification work and career It is aimed at newly arrived young people who come to Baden-Württemberg with little or no German language skills. The goal of the VABO courses is systematic German language acquisition. Structure of the German language (A1 to B1/B2) as well as preparation for school requirements, internships and entry into vocational training or further education courses.
As an officially approved carrier, we offer the complete VABO courses in accordance with the educational and structural guidelines of the regional government.
Who are the VABO courses suitable for?
- Newly immigrated young people aged approximately 15–21 years
- Students who have official VABO class visit
- Young people with little or no knowledge of German (A0–A2)
- Educational participants who speak German up to B1/B2 need to build
Contents of the official VABO courses
The content is strictly based on the guidelines of the state of Baden-Württemberg and the regional government. These include:
- German lessons from A1 to B1/B2 (intensive language acquisition)
- Grammar training, vocabulary building and communicative competence
- Working with school subject materials
- Preparation for internships and school requirements
- Promoting learning strategies and independent work
- Documentation of learning progress according to RP guidelines

The VABO courses are offered as official German language support measure carried out and comply with the structural and temporal requirements of the regional government.
