Our German course A1.b This course builds on the foundations of the A1.a course and deepens your language skills to give you even more confidence in communicating in German German course A1.b You will expand your knowledge of grammar, vocabulary, and everyday language so that you can express yourself confidently in various situations. This course is ideal for participants who have completed the A1a course or already have basic knowledge of German.


Contents of the German course A1.b

The German course A1.b includes:

  • Extended Grammar: Deepening of basic structures and introduction of more complex sentence structures for greater expressiveness.
  • Everyday language and idiomsExpanding your vocabulary for everyday conversations, so you can express yourself in a more diverse way.
  • Communication exercises: Practical exercises for everyday conversations, such as shopping, giving directions and making simple appointments.
  • Reading and listening comprehensionTraining with longer and more challenging texts and dialogues to further improve your listening comprehension.
  • Intercultural knowledge: In-depth insights into cultural and social issues in Germany.

The German course A1.b It is aimed at people who want to improve their German language skills in a structured way in order to confidently manage everyday life and prepare for the next language level.


Participation requirements for German courses

To participate in our integration courses, certain requirements must be met. You can participate in the course if you have a valid admission to the integration course, which was either issued by the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) or if you pay the course fees yourself.

Additionally, a suitable placement test is required to ensure you are placed in the correct course. If you have already completed a preparatory module at another educational institution, this may also be considered a prerequisite.
